> Fields of the `Recipient` object, a saved destination account in Chile or Mexico with its holder, institution, and account details for transfers.

## The Recipient object

A `Recipient` is a saved destination account for an entity. It stores the account holder, the institution, and the account details of a destination account in Chile or Mexico. You manage recipients with [Create a recipient](https://docs.fintoc.com/api/business-accounts-api/recipients/recipients-create.md), [Update a recipient](https://docs.fintoc.com/api/business-accounts-api/recipients/recipients-update.md), and [Delete a recipient](https://docs.fintoc.com/api/business-accounts-api/recipients/recipients-delete.md).

The `Recipient` object has these fields:

| Field | Type | Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| `id` | `string` | Unique identifier of the recipient. |
| `object` | `string` | Type of the object. Always `recipient`. |
| `account_number` | `string` | Destination bank account number. In Mexico, an 18-digit standardized Mexican bank account number (CLABE), a 16-digit debit card number, or a 10-digit mobile number. |
| `account_type` | `string` or `null` | Destination account type, in lowercase. In Mexico, Fintoc infers it from `account_number`. `null` when unknown. One of `clabe`, `debit_card`, `mobile`, `vostro_account`, `vostro_account1`, `vostro_account2`, `vostro_account3`, `vostro_account4`, `values_custody`, `institution`, `checking_account`, `sight_account`, or `savings_account`. |
| `alias` | `string` or `null` | Label you assign to the recipient. `null` when none is set. |
| `created_at` | `string` | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC of when you created the recipient. |
| `email` | `string` or `null` | Contact email address. `null` when none is set. |
| `holder_id` | `string` or `null` | Account holder identification. In Chile, the Chilean tax ID (RUT). You can't change it after you create the recipient. `null` when none is set. |
| `holder_name` | `string` or `null` | Account holder name. `null` when unavailable. |
| `holder_type` | `string` | Account holder category. One of `person`, `company`, or `unknown`. |

| `updated_at` | `string` | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC of when you last updated the recipient. |

For example, a recipient with a checking account in Chile looks like this:
