# Transfer batch object

> Fields on the `TransferBatch` object that groups outbound transfers you create in one request and approve once from the Dashboard, including `status`, `amount`, and `settled_amount`.

## The Transfer Batch object

A `TransferBatch` groups up to 5,000 outbound transfers that you create in one request and approve once from the Dashboard. You create a `TransferBatch` with [Create a transfer batch](https://docs.fintoc.com/api/business-accounts-api/transfer-batches/transfer-batches-create.md) or from the Dashboard. Fintoc sends the transfers in the batch only after you approve the batch from the Dashboard. To read those transfers, call [List transfers](https://docs.fintoc.com/api/business-accounts-api/transfers/transfers-list.md) with the `transfer_batch_id` query parameter.

The `TransferBatch` object has these fields:

| Field | Type | Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| `id` | `string` | Unique identifier of the transfer batch. |
| `object` | `string` | Type of the object. Always `transfer_batch`. |
| `amount` | `integer` | Sum of the amounts of the transfers in the batch, in the smallest currency unit (for example, centavos for MXN). CLP has no minor unit, so the value is the number of pesos. |
| `authorized_at` | `string` or `null` | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC of when you approved the batch from the Dashboard. `null` until you approve the batch. |
| `created_at` | `string` | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC of when you created the batch. |
| `currency` | `string` | Currency of the transfers in the batch. One of `CLP` or `MXN`. |
| `description` | `string` | Human-readable label for the batch. Up to 40 characters. |
| `expired_at` | `string` or `null` | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC of when the batch expired without approval. `null` unless `status` is `expired`. |
| `mode` | `string` | Mode of the API. One of `test` or `live`. |
| `partially_succeeded_at` | `string` or `null` | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC of when the batch finished with some successful transfers and some failed transfers. `null` unless `status` is `partially_succeeded`. |
| `rejected_at` | `string` or `null` | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC of when you rejected the batch from the Dashboard. `null` unless `status` is `rejected`. |
| `settled_amount` | `integer` | Sum of the `settled_amount` of the transfers in the batch, in the smallest currency unit. |
| `status` | `string` | Status of the batch. One of `pending_authorization`, `rejected`, `expired`, `in_progress`, `succeeded`, `partially_succeeded`, or `failed`. See [Batch statuses](#batch-statuses). |
| `succeeded_at` | `string` or `null` | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC of when every transfer in the batch succeeded. `null` unless `status` is `succeeded`. |
| `succeeded_count` | `integer` | Number of transfers in the batch that succeeded. |
| `transfer_count` | `integer` | Number of transfers in the batch. |

For example, a batch where every transfer succeeded looks like this:

```json Transfer batch object theme={null}
{
  "id": "trbatch_2daFu0zqqDtZGJaSi2TGI2Mm1nN",
  "object": "transfer_batch",
  "amount": 150000,
  "authorized_at": "2026-03-01T12:05:00Z",
  "created_at": "2026-03-01T12:00:00Z",
  "currency": "MXN",
  "description": "Supplier payouts March",
  "expired_at": null,
  "mode": "test",
  "partially_succeeded_at": null,
  "rejected_at": null,
  "settled_amount": 150000,
  "status": "succeeded",
  "succeeded_at": "2026-03-01T12:20:00Z",
  "succeeded_count": 3,
  "transfer_count": 3
}
```

### Batch statuses

A batch moves through these statuses:

| Status | Description |
| :- | :- |
| `pending_authorization` | The batch waits for your approval in the Dashboard. |
| `rejected` | You rejected the batch in the Dashboard. Fintoc sends no transfers. |
| `expired` | Nobody approved the batch within two weeks. Fintoc sends no transfers. |
| `in_progress` | You approved the batch, and Fintoc is sending its transfers. |
| `succeeded` | Every transfer in the batch succeeded. |
| `partially_succeeded` | Some transfers in the batch succeeded, and the rest failed. |
| `failed` | No transfer in the batch succeeded. |

Fintoc sends a `transfer_batch.*` webhook event when a batch moves to any status after `pending_authorization`. See [Types of events](https://docs.fintoc.com/api/main-resources/events-reference/types-of-events.md).
