Onboarding holds the Know Your Customer review of an Entity: company information, legal representatives, transactional profile, shareholders, and documents. The fields inside data, and the document slots, depend on type and on the Entity’s country. You create one onboarding per Entity, complete each step and document, and submit the onboarding for Fintoc to review.
The Onboarding object has these attributes:

entity_id | string | Identifier of the Entity this onboarding belongs to. null if the onboarding is not associated with an Entity. |
legal_representatives | array | Legal representatives declared for the Entity. See the OnboardingLegalRepresentative object. |
reviewed_at | string | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC when Fintoc reviewed the onboarding. null until Fintoc reviews the onboarding. |
shareholders | array | Shareholders declared for the Entity. See the OnboardingShareholder object. |
source | string | Completion channel for the onboarding. One of api or dashboard. |
status | string | Current status of the onboarding. One of pending, in_progress, submitted, approved, rejected, or cancelled. |
submittable | boolean | Whether the onboarding has every required step and document completed. |
submitted_at | string | ISO 8601 datetime in UTC when you submitted the onboarding for review. null until you submit the onboarding. |
type | string | Kind of onboarding. One of account_holder (the Entity can own Account objects) or settlement_recipient (the Entity receives its share of split payments). |
Onboarding Legal Representative object
TheOnboardingLegalRepresentative object has these attributes:

nationality | string | Two-letter ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code of the legal representative’s nationality, in lowercase. |
phone | string | Contact phone number in E.164 format. null if not provided. Only present for Chilean account holder onboardings. |
position | string | Role the legal representative holds in the company. Can be null for Chilean account holder onboardings. |
Onboarding Shareholder object
TheOnboardingShareholder object has these attributes:

effective_controller | boolean | If true, the shareholder is an effective controller of the company. Only present for Chilean account holder onboardings. |
fiscal_address | string | Address of the shareholder registered with the tax authority. Only present for Chilean account holder onboardings. |
holder_id | string | Tax ID of the shareholder: the Chilean tax ID (RUT) or another identification number in Chile, or the Mexican tax ID (RFC) in Mexico. null if not provided. |
last_name | string | Last name. Only present when type is natural_person. |
name | string | Given name of a natural person, or business name of a legal entity. |
parent_id | string | Identifier of the parent shareholder when nested. null for root shareholders. |
percentage | number | Participation percentage held by the shareholder, from 0 to 100. |
type | string | Type of shareholder. One of natural_person or legal_entity. |
Onboarding Document object
TheOnboardingDocument object has these attributes:
