Details you provide
Fintoc reads the company details from the documents you upload, and you confirm or correct them in the form. You provide these details:- Company: legal name, trade name, nationality, Chilean tax ID (RUT), date of start of activities, economic activity, company type, address, and tax address. The company types are Sociedad Anónima, Sociedad por Acciones (SpA), Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada (Ltda), Empresa Individual de Responsabilidad Limitada (EIRL), Sociedad Colectiva, and Sociedad en Comandita.
- Senior management: name, identification number, and position of at least the general manager.
- Legal representatives: full name, nationality, identification number, and email address of every required signer.
- Shareholding structure: type of person, name or legal name, identification number, address, tax address, and participation percentage of every direct or indirect shareholder that holds 10% or more of the company.
Additional questions
You also answer questions that no document covers. Each answer comes from a fixed list of options:- Source of the company’s assets: trusts, royalties, asset sales, investments, profits, donations, services, or another source you describe. You can select more than one option.
- Purpose and nature of the business relationship: collecting money or payments for services, disbursing money, holding money in deposit or custody, or another purpose you describe. You can select more than one option.
- Source of the funds you operate: your own resources from the business, collections from your customers, transfers between the company’s own accounts, capital contributions, or another source you describe. You can select more than one option.
- Other effective controllers: whether any individual controls the company without holding 10% or more of it, directly or indirectly. If you answer yes, you identify each one with the same details as a shareholder.
- Obligation to report to the Unidad de Análisis Financiero (UAF): whether the company must report to the UAF. If you answer yes, you also upload the company’s UAF registration certificate and its Manual y Políticas de Prevención de Lavado de Activos y Financiamiento del Terrorismo (PLAFT).
