Entity objects represent organizations and relate to Account objects in Fintoc’s data model. An Entity represents an organization with distinct legal rights. Each Entity can have multiple accounts, each with one or more account numbers.
You can create an Entity for each customer or user, depending on your use case. Fintoc may require you to complete a Know Your Customer process for each Entity. Fintoc reviews and approves your verification processes and third-party providers.
Root Entity
The Root Entity is a specialEntity that represents your business. Each Account under the Root Entity holds your company’s money. For more information, see Root accounts.
Your organization can have one Root Entity in the sandbox environment and one in the live environment. Fintoc automatically creates your Root Entity in live mode after you register and complete onboarding.
