Accept payments using Fintoc’s app in your Shopify store.

This guide will walk you through the process of integrating Fintoc into your Shopify store. By following these steps, you'll be able to offer a seamless payment experience to your customers and boost your sales.

Prerequisites

Before you begin the integration process, make sure you have the following:

  • A Shopify store account.
  • An activated Fintoc account and API Keys.

Getting Started: Credentials and Setup

1. Sign Up

To initiate the process, head to Fintoc's dashboard and sign up. To start receiving payments in Live mode, fill out your information to facilitate account activation and provide you with the necessary credentials.

2. Obtain API Keys

Within your Fintoc dashboard, you will find both Test and Live API Keys. You should use your Live API Keys to setup Fintoc within Shopify.

To get your Live API Keys, make sure you are in Live mode by checking the button on the top left of our dashboard. Then, head over to For Developers → API Keys to obtain them.

Integration and Configuration Process

Enabling the Plugin in Your Shopify Store

After configuring your store in Shopify and activating your Fintoc account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin panel.
  2. Install Fintoc's app directly through this link.
  3. Install the app and follow the setup instructions.

  1. Add your Live Secret Key.

Testing

  1. In Fintoc's app, switch to Test mode by using the checkbox to test payments without affecting live orders.

Go Live

  1. Once you're satisfied with testing, switch the app to Live or Production mode by unchecking the checkbox.
  2. Test a few more orders in the live environment to ensure everything is functioning as expected.
